After seven days in the car, we decided to stop at a historic Hot Springs Hotel in Montana. Established in 1900 as a place to.”take the waters”  for healing purposes. It is now a low-key resort located in the gorgeous mountains of Montana. We got the last room in the historic Lodge. We thought we were gonna have to sleep three in a bed, but as it turns out there were two beds and a sink. Bathroom down the hall like in the old boarding house days. Access to the hot spring fed pool was included with the room. They had a gorgeous vegetable and flower garden cared for by the employees where they gleaned for their on-site restaurant.. only downside was it seems to be a place for weddings and the hot pool was rocking the night we got there. In the morning they were all sleeping after their hangover so we were able to enjoy the pool.
